Nicolas Torres
Co-President
Program: U4 B.Com, Major in Mathematics & Finance, Minor in CS
Nicolas is a Montreal native and doing a double major in Mathematics & Finance in the Faculty of Commerce and minoring in Computer Science. His interest in finance and maths motivated him to join MSAA where he’s been first-year rep, VP finance, and co-president. After completing exam P, he undertook two internships in pensions consulting and health insurance. Going forward, he would like to specialize in quantitative finance. Otherwise, he really enjoys cooking and watching movies!
Hadrien Rancoule
Co-President
Program: U4 B.Sc., Major in Mathematics, Minor in FInance
Hadrien is a senior majoring in Mathematics and Finance, with a keen interest in exploring the exciting field of actuarial science. As co-president of MSAA, he spearheads initiatives to organize workshops, networking events and study sessions to enhance members’ knowledge and help them prepare for actuarial exams. Through his leadership, the club cultivates a culture of continuous learning and teamwork, empowering members to excel in their academic and professional pursuits.
Carrie Munn
VP External
Program: U3 B.A., Economics and Mathematics
Carrie is a third year student majoring in Economics and Mathematics. She is currently the VP External Communications of the McGill Students’ Actuarial Association. She is looking forward to cultivating a deeper understanding of the actuarial profession and engaging with others who share her passion and curiosity.
Jaime Fletcher
VP Internal and VP Communications
Program: U1 B.Com., Major in Mathematics, Minor in CS
Jaime is a second-year Desautels student majoring in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science. Jaime’s passion for numbers and problem-solving sparked her interest in Actuarial Science. Jaime is the face behind our social media, promoting actuarial events and opportunities for McGill Students. Her goal is to develop engaging content that informs and educates, raising awareness of the actuarial field within the McGill community.
Umut Yilmaz
VP Finance
Program: U3 B.A., Major in Economics and Statistics, Minor in French
Umut is doing a double major in Economics and Statistics with a minor in French. He manages the club’s budget and takes pride in being a member of the McGill Students’ Actuarial Association.
